Nailed It

Hello Glam & Sassy loves! I hope you are all having a glam week and ready to get sassy this weekend!  I have been busy working with clients and helping them get their sparkle on for upcoming holidays and parties. So there I was styling my customers in fabulous clothing and accessories when I noticed I was ready for a manicure.  I actually don’t enjoy getting my nails done.  I love how they look polished, but I find it to be torturous to sit for an hour with nothing to do.  Don’t you think there should be a device that turns the magazine page for us while we have one hand soaking in a bowl and the other under a UV lamp? Then there are the myriad of color choices ! I have to enter the nail salon with an idea of the color I want otherwise the decision can take longer than the manicure itself.  I have done a little research on what the hot and trendy colors are right now and wanted to pass this info along to you, my fabulous followers!

The Dark Side

Like it or not, we all have the desire to go dark and this is the perfect time to experiment with it.  I traded in my fave summer shades of hot pink for a darker berry.  I chose a gorgeous jewel tone, Black Cherry Chutney by OPI,  and now my nails look like precious gems!

Chocolate is a Great Substitute

For gray, ladies!  What did you think I was going say???  I still love the look of metallic gunmetal, but this season try a yummy brown and feed your chocolate craving without the calories.

Dolce & Gabbana Chocolate Polish is the perfect way to satisfy your cravings.

Go Nude

Taupe is always a safe choice. It goes with everything and chips are almost unnoticeable. This time of year, if you are going to stay neutral, chose one with some glitter and shimmer. That way, you can go nude… but still be Glam & Sassy!

Sparkle is a must for a Glam & Sassy girl like you

  1. I so know what you mean about loving the result of a manicure but not being a fan of the process. Love all the nail color options you listed. I’ve been in a neutral color rut lately, so I may have to try that dark berry color.
